U9/U10

The objective of these CBA divisions is to introduce, reinforce and expand advanced baseball skills in a competitive environment.

The following team formation policy is in effect for Spring 2008: 

a.   A player’s appropriate division for the spring season is based on their age as of April 30, 2008.

b.   Nine and ten year olds will play age pure (all nine-year-olds will play together and all ten-year-olds will play together).

c.   Nine-year-old teams will stay together and play as ten-year-olds the following spring season.  If a nine-year-old does not desire to stay on the same team the following spring season, they may re-enter the tryout and be drafted to another ten-year-old team.  If CBA determines that there are insufficient players returning for another season, the team will be dissolved and all remaining players will be re-drafted.

 Coaches Information

• Equipment: 1 dozen practice balls, catcher’s equipment (including glove).
• $100 deposit required. If issued equipment is not returned at end of season in good condition, check is forfeited (will be cashed and deposited by CBA).
• Practice: Stick to assignments/time. See commissioners to resolve conflicts.
• Schedules: will be posted start of season
• Uniforms before your first game. Includes hat, jersey and socks.
