Coppell Baseball Association is continuing the Challenger Baseball program and is forming a team this spring. This program is for young athletes with disabilities, who are interested in learning and playing the game of baseball. The team will consist of any boy or girl, age 7- 18, with special needs. Our goal is to put together a team to play in our fall and spring baseball seasons. Coaches, assistant coaches and volunteers are available to assist the athletes one-on-one if needed.

Baseball games are adapted to promote the desire to bat and run the bases.  The opposing team's catcher catches for both teams.  The Challenger/Rangers players are pitched 3 - 5 times by their coach.  A tee is used if necessary to ensure a hit to run a base.

The Challenger team will have games on Saturday mornings.
